Alas, No More

It is with great sadness that I announce the formal deletion of my Wikipedia entry. Apparently I'm not "real" enough for the cyber-bullies, these sluggish grad-school nihilists who actually have time to engage in online arguments about the "reality" of things they see online. I suppose if you're one whose livelihood is tied-in to the technology--like writers who can't get others to publish their work, so they do it themselves--you might be a bit protective. Sucks for me--one less Google hit, but it sucks more for Wikipedia. It just happens that my deletion occurred contemporaneously with the Sigenthaler incident, but both can be taken as of a piece, as part of that whole "shark-jumping" process. The sad thing was that everything in my entry, far as I can tell, was true.
